For families, athletes, and “outdoorsy” folks across the country, the prospect of catching an illness from a tiny bug bite is all too great. That’s where Ranger Ready provides an incredible solution.

For my work with Ranger Ready, I really dug in (tick pun not intended). From getting hands-on with the product to brainstorming new messages to test in our marketing, it was a joy to work on a brand that I personally use and rely on in my daily life.

  • Deep dives on audience & competition: By understanding our customer and our audience, I used copy to elevate our message and reasons to believe.

  • Hands-on experience: Far too often copy is written about products the writer has never even held. For a product as visceral as an insect spray, actually experiencing Ranger Ready in a variety of contexts was essential.

  • Compliance, every step of the way: For highly regulated products like bug spray, my experience collaborating with legal & compliance partners ensured fast, effective & compliant copy.

Seasonal Activations

As someone who enjoys getting outside and has suffered from Lyme Disease because of it, I was more than happy to help with Ranger Ready’s mission to fight back against bugs that bite.

Last year’s seasonal blitz focused on the peace of mind effective protection brings. By highlighting its extended protection and gear-friendly formulation (a big win over DEET), I aimed to speak directly to the adventurers driven to get out there and enjoy the world without worry
