Copywriting & Digital Strategy for Cooperatives for a Better World & Colorado.coop
What a fun project. Working with Cooperatives for a Better World (CBW), the Colorado.coop project was created to boost awareness and usage of cooperatives in Colorado, culminating with the Conscious Capitalism Conference at the Leeds school of business at The University of Colorado Boulder. Also, who am I to turn down an excuse to visit Boulder with an incredible group of people?
Cooperating on copy of every kind
Website
Creating copy to support Colorado.coop’s ambitious mission was a fantastic opportunity to dive deep into what co-ops are all about.
Conference Materials
Creating print-ready convention materials, presentation decks, and signage was a nice vacation from digital formats that grow all too familiar. Besides, I’ll take any opportunity to collaborate with Obedient Machine mastermind Manny Jasus.
Advertisements
A large part of the Colorado.coop project was creating a digital directory of every single cooperative business in the state. From co-op groceries to co-op hardware stores. To generate awareness and spur engagement, we created a series of display & retargeting ads.

The bottom line…
The opportunity to lend words, strategy, and energy to the Colorado.coop project was a full-on crash-course in the world of cooperatives and I’m so glad to have had the opportunity. Working with the team at Cooperatives for a Better World and collaborating with Identity.coop (ICANN), Colorado Credit Unions, organizers at CU Boulder, and local PR support was a fantastic opportunity to break new, creative grounds.
The tagline I wish I wrote. Bravo!
